This beautiful japanese printed paper in crimson and pink flowers is called "Katazome-shi" literally meaning stencil-dyed (katazome) papers (-shi), and is also referred to as "Wazome." As the name implies, they are stencilled - withtraditionalmaterials, and the care that comes with craftsmanship - by hand - to produce unforgettable, intense colors and patterns.
We matched this paper with our crimson color silk textured binding cloth and a white Unryu trim between the two. The torn edges of the cover and trim make for a natural and rustic look of this beautiful book.
Our Photo Albums are available in three sizes (sizes are approximate:)
- 9" wide by 7" tall, Landscape format, each page holds one 4x6 photo
- 10" by 10" Square format, each page holds two or three 4x6 or 5x7 photos photos
- 13" by 13" Square format, each page holds four to five 4x6 or 5x7 photos, or one 8x10 photo
Albums are available with 50 pages (or 25 sheets,) or 80 pages (40 sheets.)
The pages are of a heavy (80# Cover) paper stock in a natural white/cream color with a luxurious felted surface. The paper is acid free. Tabs between the pages accommodate the thickness of the photos. This keeps the book from bulging when they are filled with pictures.
