We hand-craft each book to order, so it's unique and uniquely made for you. We stand behind the craftsmanship of each book we make, because we make them right here in our studio, and we don't outsource any of our work. Only if we're happy with the quality and outcome of a book will we sign it and send it to you.
This cover in Turquoise and Bronze shows white cranes flying up and away. This traditional screen printed Chiyogami paper is crafted in Japan and is beautifully made. We matched the paper with a silk textured turquoise binding cloth separated with a thin trim strip of golden paper. In Asia, cranes are a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. This design captures the grace and beauty of this symbol.
Our Photo Albums are available in three sizes (sizes are approximate:)
- 9" wide by 7" tall, Landscape format, each page holds one 4x6 photo
- 10" by 10" Square format, each page holds two or three 4x6 or 5x7 photos photos
- 13" by 13" Square format, each page holds four to five 4x6 or 5x7 photos, or one 8x10 photo
Albums are available with 50 pages (or 25 sheets,) or 80 pages (40 sheets.)
The pages are of a heavy (80# Cover) paper stock in a natural white/cream color with a luxurious felted surface. The paper is acid free. Tabs between the pages accommodate the thickness of the photos. This keeps the book from bulging when they are filled with photos.
