Photo Albums

 

We offer our albums in three sizes, shown here from right to left:

Landscape 9x7" (in Black Vines), Medium 10x10" (in Vines),

and Extra-Large 13x13" (in Blue Vines)

 

We have been making fine, hand-bound books since 1973.

Like all of our books, we make them by hand in our studio. We bind the books in a traditional binding style and we sew our book blocks by hand with needle and Irish linen thread so the book will lie flat when open. We don’t outsource any of our work and we only hand sign a book and ship it to you if we’re happy with its quality and finish.

We offer many different cover styles using beautiful, printed and textured papers from around the world. Since we make each book by hand, to order, we can customize any design and personalize to your liking, just ask us.

Paper and Pages

Our photo albums have pages of a heavy (80# cover or 220 gsm) paper stock, in an off-white color with a luxurious, felted surface. The paper is acid free and we use archival materials in our process. We sew tabs between the pages to accommodate for the thickness of the photos. This keeps the books from bulging when they are filled with pictures. We sew the pages by hand, using needle and Irish linen thread, so the pages lie flat when the book is opened.

Available Sizes

Photo albums are available in three sizes (sizes are approximate):

 - Landscape 9x7" (each page holds one 4x6 photo)
 - Medium 10x10" (each page holds two or three 4x6 or 5x7 photos photos)
 - Extra-Large 13x13" (each page holds four to five 4x6 or 5x7 photos, or one 8x10 photo)

Personalization

Consider adding a name or date to a wedding photo album! We can personalize the title page of any book by printing a name, date, quotation, and even a picture. We custom design the colors, text styles, and layout to your specification and send you proofs in PDF form for review, correction, and approval. 

 If you would like a personalized title page, please select a font and color, then enter your text (along with any special instructions) in the product page. If you'd like us to print a picture, let us know in your order comments and we'll follow up with you via email.

Photos and scrapbook items are mounted in our albums the traditional way, using photo corners, glue stick or double sided sticky tape. Click here for more information on mounting photos in our albums.
